Turn 1 of 3

Choose a head

Choose a shape

Fold a sheet of paper into three sections. Draw one part, then fold it out of sight before drawing the next. Open the paper to see the whole creature.

The idea

You can choose a head without knowing what the whole creature will look like. Sometimes, not knowing everything makes it easier to start and learn as you go.

Not seeing every difficulty ahead can make it easier to try. Once you start, you discover what works and what needs to change. That experience helps you decide what to do next, even if you began without a complete plan.
